If you are to place an order with www.picture-framing.com, we will need to collect some personal information from you. This information includes your full name, address, email address and phone number. To take a payment for your order, we will need to collect your credit or debit card information. All your payment details are encrypted using 2048 bit EV SSL Security, which is shown by our Green Bar at the checkout. Whilst your payment details are being processed, they are stored on one of our secure servers, encrypted using higher than standard encryption, and are behind very advanced, monitored, firewalls. Our secure servers are hosted in the UK, with 24 x 7 on-site security for additional piece of mind. Our SSL Security Certificates are insured for up to $250,000. They are 100% secure at all times. We take our security very seriously, we have more than doubled the required security requirements on our secure servers for reassurance to our customers.

We will store your full name, address, phone number and email address in our secure databases. We need to store this information to process and ship your order. You are welcome to request a copy of any information held by writing to us.

For your order to arrive with you, we will need to inform our courier of your name and delivery address. Our current couriers are Interlink Express, however we may use a variety of couriers. We will also include your phone number and email address on your postage label. This ensures that if the courier is having trouble finding your address, they will be able to contact you accordingly. Interlink Express will also send you an email with an estimated time of delivery. No other personal details will be passed to our couriers, only what is necessary for a successful delivery.

Information we collect about your computer

We collect information about your computer for many reasons, website development, website maintenance, error handling, returning customer tracking and order tracking. We collect your I.P address and standard information about your computer. None of these details can identify you personally, they are purely for us to make sure our site works on all computers, and if there is an error, we understand all the variables involved, helping us identify the error in a timely manor.

Our website needs to place cookies in your cookies folder. Cookies allow us to save information temporarily on your computer. For example, if you add an item to your basket, we will store a cookie with details of this item. It allows us to identify that you have an item in your basket. Without cookies, you won’t be able to add an item to your basket! Cookies also allow us to save your basket, so if you close your browser and visit our site again later that day, providing you have not deleted your cookies, your basket should still be the same when you come back to our site.

We will not pass any of your details on to any third parties not mentioned in this privacy policy or our terms and conditions. We may need to contact you regarding your order, we assume that if you place an order with us, you are happy for us to contact you by email or phone regarding your order. We occasionally send out emails with our new frames or special offers, we make sure that all our emails have an opt out link on the bottom of them, so if you don’t want to receive any more emails from us, just click opt out at the bottom of the email. We only send one every few months.
