So you’ve got that stunning picture from your wedding venue London framed and are ready to hang it on your wall to create long lasting memories of the day. But what’s the best way to go about it?
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
The first step is to decide on where you want your picture to be hung. It is commonly thought that they are best at eye level, which is approximately 5 foot 6 inches from the floor. This is so the majority of people will see it and it will create the best impression.
Preparation
When you know where it will be placed, hold it up to the wall and mark where the top of the frame will sit. You now need to choose an appropriate hook so make sure you take into account the size and weight of your picture when picking your hook.
If your frame has a wire, hold it tightly and measure from the top edge of the frame to where the wire sits; you then need to translate this onto your wall. Using the mark you have already made, draw down with this new measurement as this is where your hook will go.
Finally…
All that is left to do now is to simply hammer your hook in, hang your picture and adjust so it is sitting straight. Then sit back, relax and enjoy!
